A: You might want to get vinyl shower curtains instead of plastic ones. Vinyl curtains are fair insulators.
Q: How hot does the area get?
A: Usually the temperature goes up to 105-115ºF.
Q: Is this far infrared or near infrared? And if so, what is the difference in the lamps?
A: It is the near infrared. One of the advantages of the near infrared type sauna is that it can penetrate deeper than the far infrared type up to 3 inches inside the body.

Q: Should I be concerned of the outgassing?
A: All components and coatings meet ROHS requirements for toxic materials and out gassing. That was a primary driver in the design of the product and in the Spec from the very beginning. The product meets the safety requirements of: TUV, UL, CSA, NOM and all international safety agencies that we know of.
